Ikea karlby desk is a gorgeous, cheap and solid countertop which has a very rich texture and looks stunning in your home. I wanted to have a large corner desk, but unfortunately ikea galant is discontinued. It is great overall top for building desks as well as use for kitchen/laundry room5.
I got the shorter 74″ version (which is still very long for a desk because it's meant to be a countertop) but they also make a crazy long 98″ version.
They've taken things further by customizing the desktop with a matte polyurethane finish. If you're familiar with r/battlestations, you know this is a true and tested setup for any and all needs.
